Visiting Luxemburg

Luxemburg is one of the smallest countries in the entire world. It’s located in Central Europe, between France, Germany, and Belgium. So, this begs the following question: since there are so many big cities in the vicinity, such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris – do you even need to give Luxemburg a chance? Is there something unique that you can see there? Or you could just skip this destination and travel someplace else?
Well, we stand firmly on the notion that you should indeed spare some time in order to visit this country as well. And believe it or not, there are many reasons as to why you would want to do this. First of all, we’d recommend you to visit Petrusse Park in the Alzette Valley. This is a wonderful place if you care for a walk – there is a beautiful jogging path that you can use if you wish to stay in shape. There is a small river that you can enjoy looking at – this river has been flowing for a long time, and it has given the city of Luxemburg the outlook that it has today.
Then, you should visit the Casemates du Bock. Beneath the castle that was built at the foundation of the city, you can find very long tunnels. The entire experience can feel a bit claustrophobic, and even scary for some people – but the vistas that you will be able to see at the end of these tunnels will make it well worth your while to check them out. You will be able to take some wonderful photos of yourself and your close ones – and of the beautiful views that you will marvel at on the place.
Going on a City Promenade Guided Walking Tour in Luxemburg might be a smart thing to do. We suggest that you use the opportunity to find a quality tour guide that will be able to initiate you to the history of the city. You will be able to learn a lot and you will be able to see the city with your own eyes.
Be sure to enjoy your stay in the beautiful country of Luxembourg.
